Stavba&Design: From Fragmented Identity to Market Leader

The Challenge: When Success Outgrows Its Image

Stavba&Design had built an impressive reputation as one of the region's largest construction companies over 15 years, offering everything from apartment reconstructions to custom family homes and large-scale B2B development projects.

They had developed a unique, systemized approach with dedicated project managers bridging clients and workers—a genuine competitive advantage in the construction industry.

Yet their brand told a completely different story. It looked fragmented, inconsistent, and failed to communicate either their scale of operations or their personal, professional approach. For a company capable of handling everything from a grandmother's attic renovation to major commercial developments, this disconnect was costing them credibility and opportunities.

Yet their brand told a completely different story. It looked fragmented, inconsistent, and failed to communicate either their scale of operations or their personal, professional approach. For a company capable of handling everything from a grandmother's attic renovation to major commercial developments, this disconnect was costing them credibility and opportunities.

While everything on their jobsites ran with streamlined precision, their visual identity lacked structure - no unified system, templates, or consistent look.

Materials were created case by case, making it hard to build brand recognition. Stavba&Design had systemized their operations—now it was time to do the same for their brand.

Step 1:
Strategic Foundation: Uncovering the Brand DNA

The process began with a series of discovery workshops where we dug deep into the core of the brand, and what really are the reasons their customers would choose them over competitors.

We discovered that Stavba&Design's real strength wasn't just their technical expertise—it was their ability to make complex construction projects feel manageable and human.

Core Brand Pillars Identified:

PROJECT PARTNERSHIP:

One project manager is your guide from start to finish—no matter the job size.

heels-make-deals-stavbadesign-visual-pillar-2

TECHNICAL X AESTHETIC:

Every project thoughtfully balances construction know-how and design sensitivity.

heels-make-deals-stavbadesign-visual-pillar-3

FOR EVERYONE:

Approachable for value-driven homeowners and credible enough for major developers.

heels-make-deals-stavbadesign-visual-pillar-4

CLARITY ABOVE ALL:

Clear, plain communication—never industry jargon.

This set the brand’s north star: to become the reliable, approachable partner at any scale— from a simple attic to a multi-million development.

Understanding the Customer Divide

Crucially, the brand needed to bridge two very different audiences:

heels-make-deals-stavbadesign-target-group-1

High-end developers and businesses: demanding professionalism, scale, and reliability.

heels-make-deals-stavbadesign-corner-4
heels-make-deals-stavbadesign-target-group-4

Everyday homeowners: ranging from high-income individuals to families and the proverbial grandma needing affordable attic repairs.

heels-make-deals-stavbadesign-corner-5

The previous identity satisfied neither effectively. It lacked the polish expected by professionals and the warmth that made everyday clients feel welcome.

The client summed it up perfectly: “Don’t let the rebrand scare off the gran.”

The new identity had to signal premium quality without ever feeling intimidating.

Step 2:
Building the Brand Identity System

The Strategic Solution: Evolution, Not Revolution

Rather than completely reinventing the brand, we chose strategic evolution—preserving brand equity while dramatically elevating execution and consistency.

The root problem wasn’t just a weak logo, but the lack of a true brand identity system—no assets, no visual rules, no way for the team or partners to create consistent on-brand materials.
Our solution: build a library and a system, not just a facelift.

We set out to develop a complex identity system—a kit of parts engineered for consistency but flexible enough for all situations. Now, anyone—internal staff, architects, or outside partners—could communicate in a way that instantly felt like Stavba&Design.

Visual Identity Transformation:

Logotype

The Stavba&Design logotype visually expresses the brand’s dual focus. “Stavba” uses bold, geometric lettering with rounded corners to emphasize strength and solidity. “Design” appears in a lighter, elegant typeface, introducing creativity and refinement. This contrast clearly communicates the union of robust construction and thoughtful design.

Logo Symbol

The logo symbol reimagines the ampersand (“&”), integrating the “S” and “D” into a sleek, geometric shape. Built with architectural grid lines, it conveys both technical structure and modern simplicity. Versatile and highly recognizable, it stands alone as a confident mark for Stavba&Design across all brand applications.

Color Palette

Stavba&Design’s color palette centers on a bold orange for energy and approachability, supported by greys, blues, white, and black for stability, professionalism, and clarity. This strategic mix ensures every application—from digital ads to site banners—feels unified, distinct, and true to the brand’s values.

Typography

The chosen typefaces balance strength and elegance—bold, geometric styles for impact; lighter weights for refined detail. This system supports clear, professional communication and highlights both the company’s technical expertise and design sensibility.

Patterns: Architectural Grids

Taking cues from architecture, our brand patterns include:

- Bullet grid: Dotted layout for soft structure, suggesting planning and details.
- Square grid: Crisp, modular grid for layouts, referencing blueprints and technical precision.

These patterns are more than backgrounds—they help make any document instantly “on brand.”

Iconography

A custom set of icons were created, all derived from the visual language of the new symbol. Simple, geometric, and highly legible, they ensure every infographics or service communication is unmistakably Stavba&Design.

Templates & Implementation Guidelines

No more design guessing.
We created a library: proposals, presentations, brochures, signs, and more—ready to use, with a comprehensive brand manual. Now, internal teams and external partners can produce materials that always look and feel like Stavba&Design.

Step 3:
Comprehensive Roll-Out — Making the Brand Real

Over several months, we worked closely with the Stavba&Design team to roll out the new identity across all key touchpoints—ensuring it wasn’t just a folder handed over and forgotten, but a system built to be used. Every asset was created with real-world function and clarity in mind:

Business Cards, Brochures, Books: Every sales touchpoint was reimagined, making even a quick intro feel premium and professional—books now go to clients, helping close deals and reinforce trust.

Site Banners & Panels: Eye-catching signage reinforces the identity where it matters—at every jobsite.

heels-make-deals-stavbadesign-branding-10

Van Fleet: No more anonymous vehicles—vans are now strategic, mobile billboards for the brand, always parked at sites and seen around town.

heels-make-deals-stavbadesign-branding-11

Folders & Document Packs: Project handovers now come with branded folders and materials, elevating every client interaction.

Templates & Tools: Custom templates for every key document, ensuring anyone (inside or out) can build consistent, branded materials—no artistic flair required.

heels-make-deals-stavbadesign-branding-15

Every touchpoint now speaks the same language—one that feels just as credible to a large developer as it does welcoming to a homeowner.

Step 4:
Digital Experience - Alignment from First Click to Final Call

We made sure that meeting the brand online mirrors the experience offline—clear, confident, and consistent. For most clients, the journey starts digitally, so it was essential that every click reinforced the same level of professionalism they’d encounter on-site or in a sales meeting.

Online Ads & PPC

We designed a set of high-performing ad creatives and display formats tailored for PPC campaigns—clear, on-brand, and conversion-focused. The visuals and messaging not only captured attention but aligned with the tone and identity found across every other touchpoint.

Social Media Branding

The brand’s presence on social platforms was refined to reflect its new identity—visually consistent, confident in tone—whether speaking to homeowners, partners, or future hires.

Website Overhaul

The site wasn’t just redesigned—it was rethought from the ground up. We reorganized the structure, refined the messaging, and ensured a smooth, guided user journey. Every visual and verbal element was brought into alignment with the new identity—making the experience intuitive, professional, and distinctly Stavba&Design for every visitor.

The Broader Business Lesson

Stavba&Design’s journey illustrates a vital truth for ambitious service and construction companies: your brand is both strategy and system. When operational excellence isn’t matched by a unified identity, you risk sending mixed signals—undermining client trust, diminishing perceived value, and making growth harder than it should be.

Consistency is not just aesthetic—it’s business-critical.

heels-make-deals-stavbadesign-branding-20
heels-make-deals-stavbadesign-branding-21

A scattered brand presence tells clients you’re uncoordinated; a systemized identity projects confidence, reliability, and readiness for any challenge. Stavba&Design’s rebrand didn’t merely change how they looked—it gave their team tools for clarity and enabled every client touchpoint to confidently reflect their scale and quality.

For leaders facing similar problems—fragmented materials, unclear messaging, lost opportunities—the lesson is clear:
A modern, strategic brand system empowers your team, strengthens client relationships, and directly supports growth. It enables your company to move seamlessly between market segments, from high-value commercial deals to approachable residential projects, without ever diluting credibility or warmth.

heels-make-deals-stavbadesign-branding-23

Transformation happens when identity and operations work together:

- Clients know what to expect, at every stage of the journey
- Teams are proud, equipped, and consistent
- The whole business commands respect in both boardrooms and living rooms

Stavba&Design is now recognized instantly—trusted by developers, welcomed by homeowners, and confidently positioned as a market leader. The business impact is tangible: stronger conversion rates, broader market appeal, and a brand reputation built for the next decade.
