Naratory is a science-backed storytelling framework - a structured methodology that helps brands, founders, and teams build stories that actually stick.
The branding challenge was as layered as the product. It had to feel rigorous enough for boardrooms and simple enough for workshops. Credible enough to stand out from the sea of storytelling gurus, yet human enough to actually invite people in.
The task wasn't just to make Naratory look good. It was to make immediately clear what it is, who it's for, and why it's different - turning a serious methodology into a brand people want to use.

Before building the brand, we had to understand where Naratory truly stood. We mapped the landscape - the gurus, the books, the competing frameworks - and looked for the gap it could genuinely own.
What emerged was clear: most storytelling approaches rely on intuition. Naratory is built on research. A single, science-backed system for creating stories that stick - one that can be taught, repeated, and scaled.

We've defined these pillars as our strategic compass - guiding every design decision that followed. Emotion, because stories derive their power from feeling. A lab mentality, because Naratory works by mixing modular components to build different stories. Psychology and neuroscience as the foundation, not intuition. And scalability through a modular system of building blocks that can be taught and adapted to any context. The result: one coherent brand identity that holds all four together.

Naratory had to bridge two main worlds at once - the people who decide where the brand is going and the people who bring it to life every day:
Early on, it was clear: if Naratory felt too “theoretical,” teams wouldn’t use it. If it felt too “basic,” experts wouldn’t trust it.
The brand had to signal depth and rigor without losing clarity, energy, or accessibility - serious enough for boardrooms, simple enough for workshops.

The Naratory logo is built on a single idea: structure that holds an imaginative world inside. It consists of two parts - the symbol and the logotype - that each carry a piece of that story.

Logo Symbol
The symbol is a modular "N" made of two building blocks. The blocks define the boundaries - the framework within which stories are built. They can stretch, scale, and shift, reflecting how Naratory's system adapts to any context. But the real story happens in the space between them: where different 3D objects and forms can appear, representing the emotional substance of stories - variable, alive, and different every time. Structure on the outside, imagination on the inside.

Color Palette
Naratory’s palette pairs a deep, grounded charcoal base with a spectrum of vivid accent colors - neon lime, electric blue, sugar pink, red, and teal - creating a flexible “lab of hues” that can shift from calm to high-energy. This system lets the brand move between serious frameworks and expressive storytelling, while gradients tie the full spectrum together into one recognizable, experimental Naratory world.

Typography
The chosen typefaces balance strength and elegance - bold, geometric styles for impact; lighter weights for refined detail. This system supports clear, professional communication and highlights both the company’s technical expertise and design sensibility.

Graphic elements
Naratory’s graphic system combines sharp, lab-like structures with soft, imaginative forms: dynamic “N” shapes and tag labels create a clear framework, while 3D “story organisms” bring neuroscience, character, and emotion to life. Fine dotted waves echo narrative arcs and data graphs, visualizing how stories rise, fall, and evolve over time.

Naratory needed to live beyond slides, so we turned the system into a physical toolkit: a book, plot cards, emotion tags, and story canvases stored in a dedicated box. Each piece was designed as a working tool, not a souvenir - easy to grab in a workshop, spread out on a table, and use to build stories together in real time.
Naratory Book: The book became the core artifact of the system - designed as a practical field guide that teams can keep on their desks, bring into workshops, and open at any page to turn theory into clear, actionable storytelling steps.

Naratory Cards: Emotion, plot, and appeal cards turn the framework into a tactile game of choices - each card color-coded, paired with a distinctive 3D “story form,” and supported by QR codes that unlock deeper explanations.

Card Boxes: Each deck comes in a color-coded box with the Naratory symbol cutout revealing its 3D “story organism,” turning storage into a small ritual of discovery.

Canvases: Naratory canvases turn abstract strategy into a shared workspace - large, color-coded layouts that guide teams through characters, emotions, plots, and outcomes in one view.

Book Box: The Naratory box turns the framework into a ritual - opening it feels like opening a lab kit. Inside, the book sits alongside key card decks, so every unboxing clearly says: this isn’t just a book, it’s a complete storytelling system ready to be put to work.
